The Iridium RF Filtered Antenna is a rugged and reliable solution for Iridium installations on ships or land, supporting both standard and extended cable runs.
Passive kits come with the ASE Premium Filtered Iridium Passive Antenna (AD512), and Active kits come with the ASE Premium Filtered Iridium Active Antenna (AD511).
Cable selection: Choose a Passive configuration for cable lengths from 12 m to 20 m. Cable lengths from 27 m to 160 m require an Active configuration.
The antenna is backed by an exclusive three (3) year manufacturer’s warranty. It is manufactured from anodized hard aluminum and a pressure-molded GRP radome, providing a sealed, dust- and water-resistant enclosure.
Note: Active configurations require the correct pre-set cable length. Using an incorrect cable or shortening the supplied cable can damage the antenna and invalidate the warranty.
